Nice guy, sarcastic, deep thinker. Very loyal and honest. Expect others to treat me the same way I treat them, which can sometimes lead to disappointment! Wheelchair user from birth.

My interests tell the rest of the story...

If I add you, yet don't comment to your journal right away, then don't take it personally... I can be shy sometimes - even online - and I figure if it's meant to be then our paths will cross all in good time! :-) I DO read everyone I add, though. If you want to lurk at my place, then that's cool too. Pretty much anything goes, although I do reserve the right to screen our interactions if you're being an ass (which no-one has been yet... don't be the first!)

I add people because I like their writing style... I don't even *necessarily* have to be interested in the things they write about, just the way they write about them. If a particular phrase you used catches my eye, then you're in.

If you friend me, I will more than likely add you back, unless:

* we don't post in the same language

* you have minimal journal content (doesn't matter about the number of posts, but some kind of substance is important)

* You are obviously underage. Chronological years aren't important, but I do demand a certain level of maturity, because I'm not here to babysit, or censor myself for the benefit of children.

Since the demise of Writer's_Block, I post a series of entertainment entries to mask the fact that interesting things rarely happen in my daily life - so comments on these topics are definitely encouraged, but absolutely not obligatory! If that's not your thing, then hopefully we can connect by my contributing to whatever it is that you happen to share. :-)

I care about events because they're topical and interesting and I want people to give their opinions... but I'm not looking for an epiphany.

Apart from the events in my own life and the lives of those I hold close; EVERYTHING is abstract to me; that's the way this journal works, and the way it will always work... If people don't want to have a discussion then they don't have to have one, but it's important that people get the gist of my motives for posting.

I never write ANYTHING with a definite point of view - I'm always open to having my mind changed. I try to leave subjects open-ended and invite people to make up their own minds... It's to a person's credit if they find that they already have, but they shouldn't necessarily expect to find a consensus here.
